Directions and location
Hammelbach lies in the Hessian Odenwald, in the municipality of Grasellenbach. From the A5 motorway it is around 20 kilometres via the B460.
By car via the A5
- 1On the A5 motorway take the Heppenheim exit.
- 2Change to the B460 towards Fürth im Odenwald.
- 3At the Weschnitz junction turn right.
- 4After about 2 kilometres you reach Hammelbach.
- 5In the village follow the signs to the Camping Park, Gasse 17.
Access and quiet hours
The gate is open from 7 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 10 pm. In between lies the midday rest from 1 pm to 3 pm, and night rest applies from 10 pm to 7 am. Please always drive at walking pace on the site.

If you travel by train and bus, it is best to contact us beforehand. We will tell you which connection fits the current timetable and what to do from the nearest stop.

Which motorway exit should I take?
The Heppenheim exit on the A5. From there take the B460 towards Fürth im Odenwald, turn right at the Weschnitz junction, and it is about another 2 kilometres to Hammelbach.
When can I arrive?
Access is possible daily from 7 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 10 pm. During the midday rest between 1 pm and 3 pm the gate stays closed.
